Who are the people in your neighbourhood???

Who are the people in your neighbourhood
In your neighbourhood
In your neighbourhooooooood
Who are the people in your neighbourhood
The people that you meet each day

The baker is a person in our neighbourhood, a person that we meet each day.

The barista is a person in our neighbourhood, a person that we meet each day.

The barman is a person in our neighbourhood, a person that we meet each day (well maybe not each day lol).

The postman is a person in our neighbourhood, a person that we meet each day.

We have been so inspired by Khyra's walking posts that we thought we'd do a walking post of our own combined with a tour of our village.

We'd also like to thank little Mango for awarding us with the the I am an awesome blogger friend award. Thanks Mango, back at ya!!!

Tomorrow is Friday and I Noah have an appointment with Stephen my vet. I'm now nearly off all my medication because my mystery soreness comes and goes with or without the medicine, so D & B would rather I didn't take it if it isn't really making any difference. I have been better, not crying much but still get pretty stiff and sore at times. When D & B come back from their holiday I'll be seeing the specialist who might be able to tell us more. I think I've got him intrigued as well.

Food Glorious Food # 1

Hi everyone,
This is Noah's pinky D here. Noah kindly let me take over his blog today for my first food session. This post isn't about something I cooked but about our day out on an organised food safari down in the heart of Sydney's Vietnamese area, the suburb of Cabramatta.
What a great day out we had. First of all we all met in a lovely airconditioned room (it was stinking hot outside) to talk about the basics of Vietnamese produce. We tasted different herbs and sweets commonly found in Vietnam. Our guide Peter was excellent with a great sense of humour.
The food safari is based on a tv show (Food Safari with Maeve Omeara) here in Oz which features a different country's cuisine each episode. They prepare recipes, talk about ingredients and visit restaurants and it's all based around Sydney. The show is excellent. Those of you interested in food would really enjoy it.
So having watched the 1st and 2nd series of the tv show, going along and being part of the tour was fantastic.
We tried some really unusual Vietnamese sweets. The colours were very vibrant and amazingly tasty. Then off we went, out and about in Cabramatta. What a wonderful place. The butchers, fish shops and grocers were absolutely amazing and so cheap. Much much cheaper than most other suburbs in Sydney. So we stocked up on dog bones and meat.
Noah, Willow, Tess & Lucy spent the day with their Auntie Marilyn, Uncle John and Colin Harries. They all get along really well now even Noah & Colin so thumbs up there.
Here are some pics of our day:
