G'day maties
We seem to attract dogs where ever we go. While we were in Beechworth we found a dog called Floyd. Bryan, who was walking us at the time decided that Floyd should come back to the cottage for a play. We had a ball playing with him and D said I was a good boy and behaved myself for a change.....uh hem......I always behave thank you very much!
Here are some pics of our morning with Floyd. Does anyone know what kind of dog he is?
Things went quite well with Floyd. When his owner came by to collect him she told us Floyd was an escape artist which Lucy & Willow could totally relate to.
Two days later while D & Auntie Jo were shopping in Beechworth, who should D spot again but Floyd. She recognised him straight away. When she called the owner the horrid lady said, "oh he got out again, do you want him?" ....... D sighed and thought why do people have dogs if they don't want them................clearly they're stupid.

I know exactly what kind of doggie he is. He is a black doggie with a white bottom. And apparently a party animal.

I know what kind of dog Floyd is.. he is a dog who is too smart for his owner and a dog who deserves a better owner!! Mom thought she knew his breed but she can't recall what it is now!! LOL.. (sign of old age?)
Floyd looks like a good addition to the family. is he some kind of Kelpie dog?
Poor Floyd!! At least he got to romp and play with you all! It's so sad what happens to doggies b/c of their owners! He must be so good natured b/c he has to fend for himself! You were sweet to welcome him so warmly to your black and tan club!

I hope she was joking. Floyd looks like he had a lot of fun. Arrow is like that so we live in a prison. Really. Some dogs are just immature-- or too drawn to squirrels.

Floyd is clearly a Doggie Who Likes to Have Fun. We loved this story, watching everyone play with such happy tails and postures. And we despised the story at the end. We simply do not understand people sometimes. And their behavior occasionally disappoints us in a big way.

Maybe he keeps running away, because he's tired of having hoomans that don't care about him? Poor Floyd. He deserves hoomans who are responsible enough to make sure that he stays safe and happy. At least Floyd has found good friends in all of you.

Floyd appears to be a rare specimen of that fabled breed, the Australian Airedale-Seeking Escape Dog. Plainly, he's happier than a pig in manure in the company of Tess, Noah, and the aire-critters.

Poor Floyd! Unwanted doggies are sad to think about even when they are in a 'home'. Every dog should be wanted. I don't blame him for escaping but hope he finds a home he wants to stay in soon.
