A long abscense

G'day maties,

We're sorry it's taken so long to post. We arrived home from the kennels last Sunday and then our internet connection crashed..........very annoying as D has wanted to show you some of the photos they took in New Zealand.

Before we start with the gazillion holiday snaps I would like to thank everyone for the birthday wishes and a special thank you to Asta in NYC who sent me the most awesome birthday card. Smoochie kisses to ya Asta xxx.

We also wanted to say how sad we are about little Snickers. Butchy and Snickers were one of our first friends on DWBs and we will miss her dearly. Our hearts go out to her family.

Last Wednesday Lucy went to the vet to have her lumps removed. The vet comfirmed that they were just fatty lumps. She has a big scar down her chest and she isnt allowed to wear a collar so that means no walks for 10 days.

Tomorrow D is going to help us with the Christmas card exchange. She says it's going to be a mammoth job. Lucky it's the weekend so we have 2 whole days to finish them.

Last of all we hope all our American buddies had a great Thanksgiving.

Miss Lucy looks like she has a zipper. Watch out. No walkies for ten days will make her cracker dog for sure.

So she got the lipo, huh. No more turkey neck. Glad it went well.

We're glad you are back! And happy to know Lucy's lumpectomies went well. She doesn't look too happy quite yet, but we're guessing she's getting some good scritchies as her furs grow back in. That'll make her ears perk up and her tail wag!

Looking forward to seeing NZ pics! Such a beautiful place!!!

Welcome back!!!

We're missed you all -- glad to hear that Lucy's surgery went well. Mom has some fatty lumps she'd like removed as well and figures a turtleneck could cover up that big scar.

We're skipping the Christmas Card exchange this year to donate the money to the Irish Guide Dogs who are in desperate need of financing. But we'll come up with an e-Card instead!

Again. welcome home!

Your pal,

Petey

Poor Lucy! We're sending her lots of AireZen! Heal quickly, Lucy!
We're not joining in the Christmas card exchange this year, guys. We've signed up for a couple of package exchanges instead. Mom's going to Florida and the barn project is lousing us up bigtime!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

We're happy to hear that Lucy is okay - but no walks for 10 days - GASP!! Still, very worthwhile sacrifice for such good news!

Hi Noah!! We are glad to hear Miss Lucy is just full of plain lumps--much better than the alternative! NZ is a far away place for us and my mom thinks she remembers that it was used for Lord of the Rings so the pics should be awesome! Glad you all are back!

Lucy, tell your people that after an operation, you're supposed to get ice cream. It helps you heal faster.

Hey handsome,

You must be so happy to be back home now with your pinkies. I hope your sissy Lucy will be ok sooner than 10 days. I can't imagine no SuperWALKS for 10 days!!!!

Thank you for the B-Day wish, yes, we do indeed have a lot in common, from our horoscope to our brains to our hair. It's like a match made in heaven don't you think??

You know...you are such a handsome Aire-man, especially with that special hair of yours. I seriously always have to take a few moments to calm myself everytime I visit your bloggie and see that hot Hot HOT banner picture of you.... *calming right now*

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade
