G'day blogging maties,
Well it's been one of those weeks.
First of all my sister Tess had a big accident yesterday which saw her spend the night at the vet.
Bryan took us all down to see our Nonna and do some work cleaning out her garage. This meant we had to stay in backyard while B was working between the garage and the driveway. Well Tess did her usual 'oh my god where is Bryan' and decided to try to find him. She crawled her way to the back of shed then climbed over the fence behind the garage. When she jumped down the otherside she sliced open 15cm near her shoulder just missing the jugular.
Bryan took her straight to the nearest vet and they were able to keep her in over night to keep watch over her. As this vet is in Sydney, Bryan had to go back down the mountain today to pick her up. We've just had word that they are on their way back and Tess is fine. She'd been crying for Bryan most of the morning but is now so happy to be reunited.
We have to be good dales as she has to be kept quiet until the drains come out on Saturday. That should be interesting......
On top of all this we lost our internet connection yesterday which is a nightmare regarding our B&B bookings (and blogging hehehe). Hence there are no pics of Tessy for this post.
Oh well that's life I guess. Paws crossed nothing else happens this week.

Oh Gosh, I hated to hear this. I am so thankful that it was not worse and she is on her way home. How traumatizing. I sure hope she doesn't do that again. Can't wait to hear about the drains...sounds kinda cool.

OMD, how scary was that? I'm so glad that Tess is okay and hope she gets better fast.
Having internet problems is so annoying; I hope things get sorted out there soon, too.
Now Noah....I'm on my way...oh my...that's a hooge cut...we're going to have to find a way to distract Tess to keep her from pickin' at it...thankfully, I just bought an entire truckload of snow from Butchy and Snickers...I have a new Snow Smoothie recipe lightly flavored with mango and raspberry...and vodk er additives...I'm thinkin' that Tessiegirl will forget bout her troubles and the HEAT after a few snow shovels of that into the blender!!!! Sounds like D & B may need a few scoops too...poor B...it's a hooge responsiblily to own a velcro Dale like Tess!!! That's how Stanny is with Mumsie but I don't think he'd half kill himself to get to her...
Now don't you dogs mess with her drains...get my basket ready and I'll be there shortly.
Oh...and Noah...have you heard bout that deserted island somewhere in Aussieland that they're gonna pay someone $105,000 to hang out in paradise and BLOG FROM IT? I was thinkin' you and I might wanna set up housekeepin' there for six months and try it out...I'm sure your Girlfriend wouldn't mind???!!!!!

That sounds like one nasty injury. I'm glad that Tess was lucky in that it wasn't more serious than it ended up being. I'm glad to hear that she's already on her way to rejoining the pack and her dad.
