As you can tell from this video, Lucy is most eager to get hold of our new stuffie Gertie. This has been Lucy's plan ever since Gert arrived.
Now we have something very exciting to tell you all.
Last week some people came to our house. They have written 2 books about Dogs that reside at Bed & Breakfasts. They've done one book on the UK and the other on New Zealand. Can you guess what we're about to tell you????????
Yes that's correct!!!!
They are doing one on Australia and yes we are going to feature in it!
They came to take our photo which they decided should be on the front verandah of our B&B.
There was only one small incident which happened after the photo shoot. Tess, Willow & Lucy all took off and our front yard isn't fenced! I remained behind and had more photos taken while Bryan went looking for the girls. Thankfully they didn't get far and all was well. I think they went looking for chickens.
We also have another bit of news. Yesterday our friend Malcolm the airedale, who lives in Denver Colorado, was stolen from his daddy's car. This happened while they were out running some errands. Malcolm's dad was absolutely frantic as you can well imagine but someone saw Malcolm being dumped from a car at 3am the following morning so they caught him and he was taken to a doggy rescue place where his daddy was contacted. We are so thankful that Malcolm is home with his dad and dale sissies. We were so worried and are just so happy it has ended so well.

oh my what a terrible tale about poor Malcolm, we are relieved he is back home safe though. What a total nightmare for his Daddy!!
We loved the video, my Jeannie also said it brought back some happy memories, seeing your sofa, and the pretty Max Factor thingme (she can't remember exactly what it was called, blames it on the jet lag, still!) And also good memories of you all, especially Lucy the Table Dancer. How funny she was wanting Gertie to be beamed down to her!!

Glad you were able to maintain your composure whilst the girls took flight. Sheesh.
That was a really scary story about Malcolm. Momma is totally paranoid and always locks the mastiff mobile when we are in it. That's why we can't go with her on hot days because she doesn't want to have to leave us behind with the windows open. Glad it worked out OK for the little guy.

OMdoG! We were just about to comment on Lucy and which ever Aire-head (hehehe) that was scratching his or her back with his or her tail and we read about Malcolm the airdale RIGHT HERE IN DENVER COLORADO very very close to where we live. That's HORRIBLE!! We are so angry that would happen and very ashamed it happened here in our neck of the woods!!!! We are soooo glad it worked out with a happy ending! (Does Malcolm blog??)

Tell D that Hotel for Dogs is a safe movie and not sad. Momma has to leave the room when she watches Turner and Hooch.
There are a couple of scenes where she got a little scared, but no doggies are ever in danger and the most sadest part is when the human pups get seperated (briefly) from their doggie, but it's not too bad. Not like watching The Incredible Journey (OMG, she like totally cried even during the happy parts and momma is really tough).

We are SO STINKIN' HAPPY that Malcolm was found! My girl likes to take me with her when she runs errands and just assumes that I'm too big and loud for anyone to try to take me (even though she locks the car doors), but this has made her think twice about it. What a scary night for both Malcolm and his owner!
I can't see the vid right now, but I'll be back to see Lucy with Gertie! Don't you just love those vids of Gertie & fat baby Tolly?!
