Well WE'RE HOT. Flaked out in front of the fan. Pinkies are installing an air conditioner very soon which will make us all very very happy but in the mean time please send snow.
NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASHThis Thursday our pinky Bryan turns 50...........can you believe it. D can't get her head around the fact that she is married to a 50 year old.......strewth! There is a birthday bash for the old boy this Saturday to which we dales are not invited.......again strewth. All we can hope for are left overs..............sigh
One more thing, I seem to have hurt my left front leg and D & B think I've aged 10 years over night. The stairs are a struggle and my walks are limited to one a day. Even that may change. I'm not crying from pain, it just looks very bad to the pinkies. If it doesn't improve in a few days I think a vet visit will be in order.
So to wrap up, we're hot, Bryan is old and I'm a cripple.

It seems like it is either too cold or too hot. Never a happy medium. But we sibes are very content these days with the cold. Guess what, we've been very hot down here, too. Bloody 44 degrees! Can you believe it?! And it didn't even cool down over night.
We sure flaked out under the aircon but still had to have wet neck ties and icy treats every hour, on the hours.
The pinkies said, with Inky being broken as well, it's been like a pet hospital with a bunch of very needy patients (Max and Pekoe are here too). Not our fault our body temp is naturally higher than pinkies'...
Noah, mate, PLEASE send us some of your sun! We've forgotten what that yellow thing in the sky looks like and we're only next door - so to speak! It's only 14 degrees here in NZ, brrh!. We wish your big Pinkie a very happy Birthday and hopefully you won't have to go to the vets!

We're sitting here thinkin' about how big and little this world is, all at the same time. Big with two hemispheres: one hot, one cold. Small with common circumstances: birthdays and bum joints. Firstly - the fifties is a wonderful decade, and seems ultra young to some of us!
Secondly - look after the left front leg. Can you do some swimming? It cools you down and strengthens sore legs without any stress on them.
