Dales on the train station

Crikey what we do for our pinkies. Everyday they wake us up at 3.45am.....way to early for us dales. We watch them getting ready and then at 4.30am we head off out the door. There's no one about at that time of the morning. Most normal people are still in bed. We think we should still be in bed getting our zzz zzz zzz.

We walk up the road to the train station to see our pinkie D off to work. She works in Sydney which is a long way from where we live in the Blue Mountains. That's the reason we have to get up so early.

This is a picture of us, still a bit bleary eyed, standing on Leura station.

WOW! That's early. It's so nice that you all walk to the train station together. I'm usually up before my mom and dad, and I tend to wake them up, which does not make mom happy. When you guys get home from your trip to the station, I hope you all took a nice long nap!

Whoa! Just how far away do you guys live from Sydney? Does your pinkie D do this commute every day?

I'm with Kirby! I hope you get a lot of zzz's in once you get back home. I'm sleepy just thinking about getting up that early.

Goober love & sympathy,
Stanley

G'day Kirby, Amber-Mae and Stanley,
Well it's a 10 minute walk up to the station then the train trip takes 2 hours....crap ay! When we go visit our grandpinkies it takes 1.5 hours by car. Our pinkie D commutes everyday. She gets home at 6pm. She used to live with her folks in Sydney midweek and come home on Friday nights but got a bit jack of that so since March she's become a super commuter. She has a portable DVD player to widdle the time away.

Aw, seeing you 4 on the platform must make any other early morning commuters smile and feel cheerier about being awake at such a horrible hour!

It's a good thing our Mumsie doesn't have to get up that early or we'd starve. She had to be at work by 6AM last week, and youda thought that she was the only one in the world who had to get up at 4AM that day. And she drags us up so she has company. We were exhausted all day!!!!! You are good dogs to go with her and maintain your sense of humor about it!!!!!

what a cool photo - we still can't understand HOW on earth Brian manages to hold all 4 of you on the way home. Clearly you must all be sooo well-behaved.....!!

Wow, that is an early start! I really can't be bothered doing much before lunchtime if possible - quick pee, poo and breakfast, then back to bed.

My mum sends her sympathy with the commute. She used to commute across a city by public transport and it took nearly the same amount of time. Got to read a lot of books though - as long as there were free seats.

OMG!!!!! I feel for you, but again, I think you guys would rather be seeing your pinkie D off than sleeping in anyway. All of you looked so sleepy in that photo...hehe!

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade
