At the end of our street you'll find some pretty spectacular views of the Jamieson Valley which is part of the Blue Mountains National Park. We took a walk down to one of the lookouts this evening. It was a warm night and even though it's not far from home we were hot and tired when we got there. We still managed to put on our smiley faces for the camera.
We've shown you lots of pics of our adventures out and about but we've never shown you the lovely scenery that is so close to home.
We don't come down here very often because the walking track is part of the National Park and here in Australia dogs aren't allowed in National Parks.....yeah it's true, I know, I know, you can't believe it either!!!! Sooooo, on the odd occasion, the pinkies take us on a quick walk from one lookout to another but you can't tell anyone ok.....ssshhhhh.
This weekend is the Australia Day long weekend. So to all our Aussie maties happy Australia Day to you.

Mom is so in love with the scenery and is bugging Dad to take a vacation down under, but I'm not OK with that. Where would I go? Maybe they could sneak be in and I wouldn't have to be quarantined, and I could stay with you guys. With four 'dales, maybe your pinkies wouldn't notice if a fith popped up for a week or two! He he!!!

You know that our dad had a heart transplant, right? Well, when dad was sick he and mom had SO much good help from all of our friends! They came out of the woodwork to help us do anything and everything! How do you have 3 bit^^es living together without fights? Babystan has decided to challenge my alpha bit** position...any help for Mumsie? It makes her very nervous when he gets scrappy...Scruffy backs off cuz he's a wimp, but I fly right in his face...it usually happens at feeding time. Mumsie puts all of us in a sit stay now, and that helps remind him I'm boss. Pee mail Mumsie at kreitm@gmail.com She'd love it if you have multiple doggie suggestions to prevent aggression. Should she just expect these challenges and let us work it out?

Your photos are beautiful. Mum used to live in Sydney and she's been on many walks in the Blue Mountains National Park. It's a shame silly hoomans have done the wrong thing and now doggies, even on a lead, can't go into national parks.
It's real hot up here in QLD too. On my barkday it was so hot that I did not even want to go for a walk on the beach. I just wanted to sit, so mum decided to sit with me. Hobson and Rose weren't real happy but they're more used to the hot weather than me.

Hey, my Mum has been to that park before, to that exact same spot you guys are standing. She can't remember the name, is it called "something Gap". It is northwest of Melbourne. Its lovely there. Mum used to study in Monash Uni in Clayton Vic, so she loves Australia. She's been to a few places traveling around Oz.
