Welcome Tess

The weekend Tess came to live with us was a disaster. Things couldn't have gone more wrong. Our pinkies thought they did all the right things to introduce Tess. That weekend we visited the vet twice with more visits during the week. The problem was that at first Tess thought I, Noah should be hers and she didn't want to share me with Lucy or Willow, so she attacked them. Willow backed off as she is a sweetheart and doesn't have a horrid bone in her body. Lucy on the other hand didn't back down and the two of them got into some horrible fights. Tess came off worse for wear. First her eye lid was ripped and then on the Sunday night after another awful fight her leg was damaged.
Six weeks have past now and things are completely different. Tess and Lucy are always in each others company. They love a good game of bitey face and are a good match for each other. Willow joins in now and again though she much prefers my company. Who can blame her !

Bra girls

Sometimes people leave things behind at our B&B. Luckily this person didn't want her lost item back. Willow & Lucy had a great game of tuggerwar with it. It might have been a good bra but it didn't stand the Airedale test.

My Sister Tess

This is my sister Tess. She came to live with us on August 10, 2007. She used to live in Melbourne but needed to be rehomed. We heard about Tess via Airedale Rescue in Victoria. She really needed to go to a home where someone is home all the time and our pinkie Bryan runs our B&B so he is home all day.
At her old home, Tess used to escape, wondering off to play with other dogs. Here she is really happy to hang out with us. She hasn't run off yet so I guess she likes us. Tess is 4.5 years old. Her birthday is December 7. After a rough start, fighting with Lucy and a few trips to the vet, she has settled in well. Lucy and Tess have become good friends and enjoy playing bitey face together. We're really happy it has worked out. Now she is one of the pack.

My Sister Lucy

This is my sister Lucy. She is an Airedale/Irish cross (we think).
She is the most active of all my sisters. She thinks she is the boss around here but she's got that wrong.
My pinkies were told about Lucy being given up to Airedale Rescue here is Oz. So they thought they'd help her out by giving her a new home. She used to be called Susie but they changed it to Lucy. Now she is one of the pack. She was 18months old when she came to live with us and we don't know when her birthday is so we make it the same as Willow, May 21.
She is now 3.5 years old. She needed lots of love at first and now gives lots of love back. She is happy here.

My Sister Willow

This is my youngest sister Willow. She came to live with us as a puppy when I was just 3 years old. She is my best mate and I'm happy to share my food and toys with her. She likes to bite my tail and back legs, little rascal that she is. Willow turned 3 on May 21, 2007. Isn't she a cutie.
