Operation Bring Beau Home

Hi Everydog and Hammie,

We've decided to do our part in the mission of helping Beau get back home where he belongs. If Beau is anywhere around here, with four dales on the look out and their pinkies we're sure to find him.

We've got our helmets on and WE'RE GOOD TO GO!!!!!!

Here is a picture of Beau. This lovely boy was stolen from his house back in 2003 and his mum hasn't stopped searching for him since. Now will lots of help we hope that 2008 is the year Beau is reunited with his family. Paws crossed !!!!!!!

The Holiday is Over

Tomorrow morning we head for home. It's back to work for the pinkies and back to guard dog duty for me and Lucy. Tess & Willow live the life of leisure so they won't notice any difference.

Today we had a fun morning. We headed into the city to a great spot called Lady Macquarie's Chair. There are loads of tourists to be found and we had heaps of photos taken of us. The Japanese just love us and Willow even got some cuddles from a lady.
The pinkies took lots of pics of us with the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House as a back drop. This is as Sydney as it gets folks!

I was on guard duty while we walked around the park. Lots of people like to jog around the foreshore and some of them got a bit to close to the pinkies. I told them to back off in my loudest bark. I had to tell one man twice until he got the message!!

The piccie above is of a sandstone cave. Even though there are stairs carved in the rock it was still really slippery and it took some effort to get us up there. B is a very patient person.

Here I am back at the dale mobile with my trusty bucket of water. The girls are loaded in the back so I get the whole back seat to myself. How good is that!
So that's it for our Chrissy holidays. Hope you all enjoyed the pics and videos. We sure had fun.
Catch you all later.

Holidays live on

G'day maties,
We could get used to this life. Being on holidays is great fun. It's a win win situation. The pinkies don't have to work and we get to go to different places every day. We've had so many adventures since the start of our holiday. The day after the beach outing the pinkies went sailing on Sydney Harbour for the day. We didn't get to go out on the yatch, it's not exactly a dog friendly boat but we got to see all the pics.

Then on New Years eve before we headed off to the Corgi Lounge Pawty we went to our Aunty's place for a BBQ and a swim. Lucy was the only one to dare go in the pool (truth be known B pushed her in...that's no lie). It was such a warm evening she didn't even mind.

Willow got a bit of a fright. She thought B was going to throw her into the pool but he wouldn't do that to litte Willow.

Well the pinkies didn't make it to midnight. Some locals let off a few fireworks which kept us awake for a while. Tess was a bit upset but we all held her paw and she was fine.

After a sleep in the next morning B & D took us down to Botany Bay where we did a 2 hour walk along the foreshore. All the beaches along the bay are not dog friendly but we piddled on the no dogs on beach sign and went in anyway. It felt so good breaking the law.

Then today B took us to one of the large inner city parks called Centennial Park. It has a huge leash free area and lots of pinkies take their dogs there. It's the place to be seen and we made a great impression. We played with lots of other dogs and had a great time. Ok there was the incident where a big German Shepherd chased Lucy just about out of the park but after a while she was found and all was fine. Oh and there was that other incident with Lucy and the small dog but that was sorted too. So in the end B decided that we should leave before a third incident took place. No wonder D wanted to stay home!!!!

So that's our holiday so far. There are two more days to go so stay tuned for more adventures.
