Update on Tess, an award & Colin Harries comes to visit

Hi hi everyone,

It's me Tess. I just wanted to thank you all for all the good wishes and healing vibes. They must be working because I'm feeling much better. I have an awful scar complete with stitches down my chest and a horrible drain that hangs there dripping yucky stuff. See here are some pictures of me.

Tomorrow D is taking me to my vet and he will remove the drain. Willow has been doing a very good job making sure it is kept clean. I think she picked up some tips from Asta & Lacie because she's become a very good nurse.

I don't know how long the stitches stay in for but I don't mind so much. B says I'm a very lucky girl and it could have been so much worse. I have to remember not to climb over the fence at my Nonna's place anymore.........sigh.

We also got an award from our good buddies Gus & Waldo & our new friends Oscar, Tucker & Tinkerbell, the Nibbletreats gang. Thanks everyone, we are really honoured to receive this award.

On the menu was a warm lamb salad with sweet potato, haloumi & grilled asparagus....yummers!!!

Tess' big boo boo

G'day blogging maties,
Well it's been one of those weeks.
First of all my sister Tess had a big accident yesterday which saw her spend the night at the vet.
Bryan took us all down to see our Nonna and do some work cleaning out her garage. This meant we had to stay in backyard while B was working between the garage and the driveway. Well Tess did her usual 'oh my god where is Bryan' and decided to try to find him. She crawled her way to the back of shed then climbed over the fence behind the garage. When she jumped down the otherside she sliced open 15cm near her shoulder just missing the jugular.
Bryan took her straight to the nearest vet and they were able to keep her in over night to keep watch over her. As this vet is in Sydney, Bryan had to go back down the mountain today to pick her up. We've just had word that they are on their way back and Tess is fine. She'd been crying for Bryan most of the morning but is now so happy to be reunited.
We have to be good dales as she has to be kept quiet until the drains come out on Saturday. That should be interesting......

On top of all this we lost our internet connection yesterday which is a nightmare regarding our B&B bookings (and blogging hehehe). Hence there are no pics of Tessy for this post.

Oh well that's life I guess. Paws crossed nothing else happens this week.
