Beard growing competition & an out of control walk

G'day Maties,

Well D & B finally got around to measuring our beards for Stanley's beard growing competition in memory of his mate Dovah Doo. I don't think we've got a chance this year. We found out about the competition the day after we had our aire-cuts......d'oh.... so poor Tess isn't going to enter because her beard was chopped right off....lol.

I Noah come in at 110mm, that = 4.3 inches

Little Willow comes in at 80mm which = 3.1 inches

And Lucy comes in at 70mm or 2.7 inches

I think we're going to need some special lotion to massage into our fur to get the beards to grow quickly.

Now, you've all seen videos of B taking us for a walk up the road. Usually when D takes the video we're all pretty well behaved. Well this is a video of what normally happens on our midday walk.....total chaos!!! Poor B was totally tangled in our leads.

It finally happened

It's a dream come true......the long awaited dream of tasting ice-cream has finally happened. One of the things I planned to do before I die.....It happened today my friends. We all sampled ICE-CREAM and we loved it.

I Noah got to go first. Hmmm creamy delicious vanilla ice-cream.

Update on Noah's pain

G'day Maties,
Well I've been taking the steroids for 4 days now. I guess I'm a bit better. D & B have noticed an improvement in my walking and I'm not in as much pain as I was before these meds. On Friday and most of Saturday I was much better and pain free but Saturday night I had another attack. It only lasted a couple of minutes and I wasn't crying as loudly as usual. Today we went on a really long walk with our friend Colin Harries. Well we just got back and I'm a bit sore again. I had a little cry. I think D has just figured out that I can't go on very long walks.......d'ahhh.

I go back to see Stephen on Tuesday. I wonder what he'll say.

I leave you with a photo of our Wisteria plant that grows on our verandah. See how it's flowering?? Well we've lived here for 8 years now and this is the first time it's flowered for us. About bloody time hee hee.
